Spring in south central Washington is a breathtaking site as local orchards bloom. Chukar Cherries invites visitors to enjoy the phenomenon with their 2026 Cherry Blossom Driving Tour, complete with picturesque rural routes, eateries with panoramic views, and a tasting stop at the iconic Chukar Cherries flagship store & factory headquarters.

Prosser Flag & Flight Festival at the Prosser Airport
The Prosser Flag & Flight Festival is a weekend aviation and community celebration happening June 13–14, 2026. The event features an aviation fly-in with airplanes, hot air balloons, helicopters, and drones, along with displays, food, kids’ activities, and a farmer’s market swap meet. A keynote presentation will be given by Greg “Boss” Wooldridge, a three-time Blue Angels commander. Special perks include limited camping for fly-in visitors and commemorative coins for the first 100 aircraft that fly-in.

The 2026 Prosser Science Expo celebrates many branches of science—from agriculture and ecology to chemistry, observation, creativity, and experimentation.
This year we have experts on lamprey, molecular structures, fossils, a planetarium and astrocartography, soils, bugs, electricity, fire science, art, interactive experiments – and of course our favorite giant salmon Finn!
Science activities are all free and great for scientists of all ages! Food trucks and facepainting will also be on-site and available for purchase.
