Celebrate Spring Barrel Weekend at Mercer’s Prosser Tasting Room!
Spring is in the air, and we’re celebrating in style! Join us for an unforgettable weekend filled with incredible wine, lively music, and all the best vineyard vibes.
On Saturday, enjoy live music from Faith Martin from 1–4 PM while you sip and soak up the sunshine. All weekend long, explore exclusive barrel samples, challenge friends to lawn games, and treat yourself to boxed lunches available for purchase. Tastings are just $25 or $15 for Carma Club Members—making it the perfect excuse to try something new (or rediscover a favorite!).
Step into the barrel room for a behind-the-scenes experience, sampling wines straight from the barrel alongside current vintages. We’ll also be pouring exciting new releases you won’t want to miss!
Your ticket includes a stemless wine glass to take home and remember the celebration.

First Annual Vine Blessing & Dedication at WIT Cellars
Join us on April 11, 2026 for a beautiful and meaningful celebration as we gather for our annual Vine Blessing.
This special day, celebrated by vineyards around the world each spring, is a time to honor the promise of a fruitful season ahead. Together, we’ll share in a blessing of the vines, enjoy fellowship, light refreshments, and raise a toast to the coming year—may it be abundant, joyful, and full of promise.
We are also proud to introduce our Vine Society members whose generosity has made this possible. Sponsored vine plaques will be unveiled and on display during this dedication ceremony.

Children and Books Day/Color Run 5k At Prosser City Park
Join the library 4:30-6:30 for a celebration of children, families, and reading, with free books, costumed characters, music, and local resources! Then from 6:30-8, the Boys and Girls Club will be hosting their annual Color Run in the Park – kids can win raffle entries for every lap!

States Day Celebrating 99 years of Community in Prosser with New and Old Traditions
Prosser’s oldest community event, “States Day” will be held on Monday, September 7th 2026, and offers something for the whole family. Kicking off the day is the Grand Parade which starts at 10:00am. With a long line of marching bands, floats, mounted entries, junior and senior organizations and more, the parade is usually the longest in Central Washington, with more than 100 entries each year. Those interested in participating as an entrant in the parade can contact the Chamber office for an entry form.
After the parade, family activities get underway at the city park. Stop on your way into the park to sign into your state of origin and don’t forget to purchase your States Day Commemorative buttons! Then grab food from our vendors before trying your luck at BINGO under the pavilion or enjoying the stage show, which shows off the talents of local groups.
