Cousin Curtiss Live at Brewminatti
This will be a hot one!
Cousin Curtiss brings to the stage a fiery dynamic rarely seen by a solo act and now partnered up with the equally enigmatic and soulfully driven electric guitar prowess of Harrison B, these two road warriors are on a mission to electrify audiences everywhere with their two-man full-band sound. Think, “blues at bluegrass speeds.” Imagine, “rock americana with a soulful drip.” Experience rapid fire acoustic guitar, incendiary harmonica, fiercely energized solos, all driven by a thunderous kick drum.
Ben Rice & The PCX Hustle at Brewminatti
Ben Rice might be described as quiet and unassuming—until he picks up a guitar. A three-time Blues Music Award nominee, Rice has built a reputation as one of the most expressive and versatile artists in today’s roots and blues scene. While he began in traditional blues, over the years he’s expanded his sound with soul, R&B, folk, and country, creating a welcoming front-porch atmosphere where every listener feels at home.
In 2023, Ben Rice unveiled a bold new chapter with his horn-driven ensemble, Ben Rice & The PDX Hustle. With its blend of horns, vocal harmonies, piano, and organ, the group captures the raw energy of Rice’s live show and delivers it with a groove that has been igniting audiences across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
With his new album Fallen Angel (2025), Rice showcases not only his fearless guitar work and emotive voice but also his evolution as a songwriter and bandleader. The record is both a tribute to his late drummer Chandler Bowerman and a testament to resilience, creativity, and the deep joy of making music.
Never Come Down at Brewminatti
Formed in 2017, Never Come Down was born from the vibrant if not occasionally overlooked music scene of Portland, Oregon. Much like the city that inspired them, they’re a smart, charming, off-beat amalgam of varied backgrounds and tastes. In today’s paradoxical world where honoring tradition is often pitted against exploration and innovation, the band confidently walks the line between the modern and the tried-and-true. They’ve gained a loyal following and continue to win over audiences everywhere from Reykjavik’s Iceland Airwaves to San Francisco’s acclaimed Hardly Strictly Bluegrass. They’ve gained the attention of industry veterans, and toured in support of notable acts such as Yonder Mountain String Band and The Travelin’ McCourys, among others. Never Come Down’s live performance never disappoints- with showmanship, originality, songwriting and musical prowess far beyond their years.
Seth Walker Trio at Brewminatti
Seth is one of our Brewminatti faves – this will be his SIXTH performance at Brew and we couldn’t be happier.
Seth’s music is inspired by the places he has lived – Austin, New Orleans, Asheville – and it’s a cool blend of Americana, blues, jazz and soul. He has toured and played with The Mavericks, Raul Malo, The Wood Brothers, Paul Thorn and Ruthie Foster among many others. He’s touring to support his new album Why TheWorry?
The new album finds Walker reunited with old friends and familiar names. Once again Jano Rix steps behind the boards, co-producing the album with Seth and engineer Brook Sutton.
In the producer’s fifth outing he’s become an invaluable sounding board, the kind who knows what’s missing and, just as importantly, what needs to be taken away. Oliver Wood (The Wood Brothers) lends a pen to the title track, and Seth’s classically trained father Scott adds strings to “I’m Getting Ready,” a song penned by Walker’s contemporary Michael Kiwanuka.
Mostly, though, the record was shepherded into shape by Walker’s trio, rounded out by longtime confidants Rhees Williams (Guitar, Piano) and Mark Raudabaugh (Drums). The three let the studio guide them, entering without agenda, set straight by the title’s mantra to stop worrying where they’d end up.
But worry always tries to creep in. It’s inevitable, isn’t it? The album was just about finished when Hurricane Helene hit Walker’s region in the mountains around Asheville, and as a result, the record almost didn’t see light. As catastrophe took shape and literal bridges were broken, the album’s importance wavered in Seth’s mind until the central theme came back into view. The worry wouldn’t undo any damage, and there was still service in song. There’s a telling nod in the album closing with Bobby Charles’ seminal ode “I Must Be In a Good Place Now.” Why The Worry is a spiritual reset, watching the sunrise over the mountains. It soaks in like warmth on the skin after a night of shivering in the dark.

The Silos at Brewminatti
The Silos began as a musical force in 1985 with the release of their first album “About Her Steps” along with a series of gigs in their hometown neighborhood, the East Village of New York City.
They were part of New York’s post-punk ’80s scene and played Indie Rock, Alt-Rock, Alt-Country, and Americana before any critics coined those terms. Heralded at their outset by Rolling Stone as “America’s Best New Band,” the resilient Silos mix punk, roots, rock, and sage art-damaged truth telling. Salas-Humara’s narratives take on the weight of attentive, convincing poetry and wry wordplay. The Silos have created a sound that’s hard to pin down – “The band’s austere style inflects the astringent twang of The Velvet Underground with the drone of R.E.M. and adds countryish echoes that recall Gram Parsons,” offered The New York Times. Their latest effort and 12th studio album “Family” was released in 2022 and work has begun on a new album to celebrate their 40th Anniversary in 2025. There will also be series of live albums released in 2025 that span the 40 years of the band on the road.
1776 at the Princess Theatre
“1776”
America’s Prize Winning Musical
Music and Lyrics by SHERMAN EDWARDS
Book by PETER STONE
Based on a concept by SHERMAN EDWARDS
Original Production Directed by PETER HUNT
Originally Produced on the Broadway Stage by STUART OSTROW
It’s the Summer of 1776 and the nation is ready to declare independence… if only our founding fathers can agree to do it! 1776 follows John Adams of Massachusetts, Benjamin Franklin of Pennsylvania, and Thomas Jefferson of Virginia as they attempt to convince the members of the Second Continental Congress to vote for independence from the shackles of the British monarchy by signing the Declaration of Independence.
The seminal event in American history blazes to vivid life in this most unconventional of Broadway hits. 1776 puts a human face on the pages of history as we see the men behind the national icons: proud, frightened, uncertain, irritable, charming, often petty, and ultimately noble figures, determined to do the right thing for a fledgling nation.

Stand-Up Comedy with Scott Losse
Scott Losse is a stand-up comedian from Seattle, Washington. While he’s been telling jokes for a long time, most people know me as “Pacific Northwest Guy”. He’s the voice in that one reel. That dude in the beanie. Yeah, that’s Scott talking about sheds or dogs or mountain biking or the weather. At some point he accidentally became a content creator.
Scott has been featured on Dry Bar, XM Radio, Laughs on Fox and other stuff. As he says “People seem to like it.”
A first generation Cuban-American and Paralympic title-holder, Marcus Moreno’s unique combination of experiences gives him an equally unique comedic voice to match. He went from the 2014 paraclimbing national champion and gold medalist to stand-up comedian who sneaks disability advocacy into an otherwise charmingly irreverent look at life, family, and society. He’s fairly confident no one can say the same, but he’s also modest enough to admit there’s a chance. From this path, he has been featured in People, Good Morning America, E! Hollywood True Stories, and more.
