SUMMARY:The Silos at Brewminatti
DESCRIPTION:The Silos began as a musical force in 1985 with the release of their first album “About Her Steps” along with a series of gigs in their hometown neighborhood\, the East Village of New York City. \nThey were part of New York’s post-punk ’80s scene and played Indie Rock\, Alt-Rock\, Alt-Country\, and Americana before any critics coined those terms. Heralded at their outset by Rolling Stone as “America’s Best New Band\,” the resilient Silos mix punk\, roots\, rock\, and sage art-damaged truth telling. Salas-Humara’s narratives take on the weight of attentive\, convincing poetry and wry wordplay. The Silos have created a sound that’s hard to pin down – “The band’s austere style inflects the astringent twang of The Velvet Underground with the drone of R.E.M. and adds countryish echoes that recall Gram Parsons\,” offered The New York Times. Their latest effort and 12th studio album “Family” was released in 2022 and work has begun on a new album to celebrate their 40th Anniversary in 2025. There will also be series of live albums released in 2025 that span the 40 years of the band on the road.

DESCRIPTION:Scott Losse is a stand-up comedian from Seattle\, Washington. While he’s been telling jokes for a long time\, most people know me as “Pacific Northwest Guy”. At some point he accidentally became a content creator. \nScott has been featured on Dry Bar\, XM Radio\, Laughs on Fox and other stuff.  As he says “People seem to like it.” \nA first generation Cuban-American and Paralympic title-holder\, Marcus Moreno’s unique combination of experiences gives him an equally unique comedic voice to match. He went from the 2014 paraclimbing national champion and gold medalist to stand-up comedian who sneaks disability advocacy into an otherwise charmingly irreverent look at life\, family\, and society. He’s fairly confident no one can say the same\, but he’s also modest enough to admit there’s a chance. From this path\, he has been featured in People\, Good Morning America\, E! Hollywood True Stories\, and more.
