Working with clay doesn’t need to be divided into categories. Often we think about either wheel throwing or handbuilding. When it serves the design of the piece we can do both. In this demonstration we’ll cover two techniques integrating the two. We’ll take through how to be successful when joining slabs to wheel thrown pieces. We’ll also do a demonstration of using the wheel to alter hand built pieces.
